Description
The North Tension Rod Assembly is used as a collar tie by attaching to the Beam Connector. This is done by connecting the Beam Connector to the Tension Rod using a Beam Connector Locking Pin and securing the 3 half couplers to the bottom tube of the Roof Beam.
Once the all is connected, the turnbuckles are tightened to provide 'collar tie' support to the roof structure. As an alternative, Unit Beams or Tubes can be used with Swivel Clamps to create collar ties at the mid height of the roof.
