The base collar (also commonly known as a starter) is used with a rosette and a height-adjustable surface (Screwjacks) to build a scaffolding base. It is the beginning vertical member of the Ringlock scaffolding system. It is designed to “base out” the scaffold system on top of the screw jack, allowing you to create a lower node point.
Base collar connects scaffold standards at the base, providing alignment and load transfer in tube & clamp and system scaffolding assemblies.
